Discrimination Questionnaires abolished

Discrimination questionnaires are a formal way in which claimants could ask employers questions to try and work out if there had been discrimination and potentially to gather evidence, or allow the Tribunal to draw inferences if the questions were not answered or were answered evasively. The formal questionnaire system is being abolished, though claimants will still be able to ask questions of their employer. ACAS has published guidance on ‘Asking and responding to questions of discrimination in the workplace ‘.
